Welcome

During this 5-day and 6-night Returning to Wholeness Retreat, participants will be guided in an exploration of what their deepest desires in life are. And then what might be preventing them from manifesting these longings and goals.

During this retreat, we will examine how to embrace our experiences in the here and now.

In recent times the world has experienced layers of collective trauma; including relational stress, eco and political anxiety, and the threat of an invisible force (Covid-19). We have undergone shifts in normalcy that have prompted uncalculated life adjustments in our workplaces, social lives, and family connections. With stress, these abrupt changes can trigger old wounds that couple with current struggles and inhibit us from being fully present in our lives.

How do we help ourselves and also help others in these trying times?

Overcoming these obstacles will include:

  • Creating fresh goals and revisiting long lost dreams.

  • Countering our inner resistance to profound change.

  • Gaining the courage to navigate new pathways.

  • Paving a fulfilling future after deep loss, whether through separation or death.

  • Developing the skills to become a supportive anchor in our family/community.

  • Grounding to become a regulating force around the deep suffering of others.

  • Learning More about Somatic Experiencing® (for beginners & experts)

As we begin to move forward, let’s discover the obstacles together.

Dr. Levine and his team will support this inner exploration through small group work, dyadic exercises, individual sessions, and fireside chats which involve the theory of trauma healing and transformation. There will also be daily opportunities for stretching and movement meditations as well as walks and hikes in the nearby wilderness areas.

Please, join us in this intimate, a miracle of healing journey.

More about daily Yoga: Inge's classes are trauma-sensitive, Somatic Experiencing® and Polyvagal Theory informed. They honor the individual's inner intelligence to guide them to be true to themselves and to chose what works for them within her offered suggestions. She promotes the idea that the pose should fit the body and encourages students not to force their bodies to fit an idea of what a pose "should" look like. The goal of Inge's classes is to promote inner awareness, enhance embodied capacity for self-regulation, and free the life force constricted by stress and trauma in a titrated way to prevent overwhelm. She will guide breath-led movements to accomplish those goals, and pause frequently for moments of self-reflection to allow for the digestion and regulation of metabolic and metaphysical energy. See schedule for more.

We look forward to spending these days with you.
