11:00am - 2:30pm PDT
Live & Interactive Online w/Q&A
One (1) SE Case Consult Credit
SEI Students Beg I & above

We invite you to a rare SE Group Case Consultation & Demonstration with the developer of Somatic Experiencing®, Peter A Levine, Ph.D. Watch on Zoom as Dr. Levine meets directly with SE Practitioners and students to discuss FOUR unique cases, work with TWO clients, and strategize solutions for where they are stuck. Learning from observation and discussion is an integral way to enhance and master your SE skills.

  • You can submit to present your client to Dr. Levine as a demo and/or discussion case.

  • This consult provides one (1) credit toward your SE student Group Case Consultation requirements with a Faculty member.

  • There will be a live Q&A with Dr. Levine.

  • With registration, you will receive a link to watch the consult live online; plus, within two weeks following the course, we will send you a link to review the recording for a minimum of one year.

Please join us in this wonderful opportunity to dive deeper into the understanding of Somatic Experiencing and Dr. Levine's work in the field.

Case History Submissions
SEI students of all levels are invited to submit a client's case history for review.
Two of the cases selected will have the opportunity to bring their client online to work with Dr. Levine live during the class.
Please email m@somaticexperiencing.com to receive the submission form and note if you have a client you'd like to bring on live.

Case Presentation Guidelines

Dr. Levine will require:

  • Your professional background

  • Introduce your client: how long you have worked together, presenting issues, struggles you’ve had, and treatment goals

  • Brief history: age, family, past traumas (brief bullet points by approx. age)

  • Interventions you have tried and their outcome

  • The kind of support you need

Demonstration Format
The practitioner will introduce the case history and discuss with Dr. Levine the work they've been doing with their client. He will then work with their client and advice approaches moving forward. Fellow participants are encouraged to ask questions and make suggestions (Peter loves hearing how someone else would work).
